Frequently Asked Questions
The Usual Q’s
Do you do group photos?
Yes we do, but these are nobody’s favourite photos from their wedding, and certainly not our favourites to take, so we advise not to spend long on them, and trying to keep the number of different groups as small as possible.
When do you arrive?
We usually arrive 90 minutes before the ceremony begins to photograph you getting ready and to look around the venue. Any earlier and we’re just in the way while you’re in your pyjamas.
How late do you stay?
We hang around until about 20 minutes after the first dance typically. This is a good point to slip away, and means you and your guests can cut loose without official evidence. If the plans are different or you would like more night vibes, just ask us!
We hate having our photo taken!
We know the feeling. We like to think that we’re good at relaxing people in front of the camera, and we’ll help you with posing too, so don’t worry.
How many photos will we get?
We don’t like to put a limit on the amount of photos we send from a day. We have no use for photos of your great aunt sally on our hard drives, so if it’s good, and tells the story of the day, it’s yours. Normally we aim for around 450-600 fully edited photos from a full day wedding.
Can we edit the photos ourselves?
Absolutely not. And if you use these face tune apps or something on them after the fact, we will tell our dogs that they aren’t good boys and it will be all your fault. Think about that.
Can we meet you before the wedding?
Yes you can! We love to meet our couples before the wedding wherever possible. Any excuse to drink some coffee or a beer really. If our schedules don’t align, we’re happy to jump on FaceTime and chat on there instead.
Do you offer video?
Nope, but we do know a few very talented videographers, whose details we will be happy to share with you.
Do you travel?
Hell yeah. We love travelling. We travel all over the UK. We’re happy to travel all over the world. Get in touch to discuss your plans, and we can work something out for you.
How long does it take to get our photos?
We’ll send you over some photos within a few days to tide you over (keep your family happy) while we edit the full set. Please take in to consideration that we shoot a lot of weddings, but we aim to deliver your finished photos in 80 days.
Do you want to come and see our venue before the wedding?
To be honest, this isn’t something we need to do, as we like to arrive early on the day and have a nose around, finding spots that we like the look of on the day.
Any Tips?
In the months before your wedding get yourself properly hydrated.
Please ask your guests to leave their phones, ipads, cameras etc away during the ceremony. You might not think much of it, but having granny’s iPad in it’s massive fold out case held above everybody’s heads looks rubbish and is super annoying too.
Same goes for when we do the group shots. Having 20 people crowding us trying to take photos on their phones just means that there will ALWAYS be someone looking the wrong way in every photo. Annoying.
